Internship Opportunity:

As an Intern, you will work closely with our Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, design staff, and project managers to research, survey, and prepare plans for our private and municipal Clients. You will play a key role in assisting and drafting plans for a variety of projects including Stormwater Management designs, Land Development Plans, Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic Surveys, UAV Aerial Mapping, Construction Stakeout, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist professional engineers with infrastructure design, bidding, and inspections.
• Assisting with stormwater management designs and reports.
• Conduct ordinance research to prepare site layouts that comply with zoning regulations.
• CAD drafting to assist with preparing Existing Features Plans from data collected during the surveys.
• Assist the survey department by conducting records research, plotting deeds, and preparing for field surveys
• Perform fieldwork such as boundary surveys to locate and document property corners and other forms of boundary evidence, topographic surveys to document existing site features and topography, and construction stakeout surveys to layout proposed improvements. 

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an ABACT Accredited Civil Engineering Program or relevant education program,
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
